We are opening The Factory to a small, hand-picked crew of testers before launch. Your job is simple and important: use it like a real person, find what is confusing or broken, and tell us. No technical skill needed — just honesty and curiosity.
You describe an app in plain words; The Factory builds it and puts it live on the web in about ninety seconds — and you own what it makes. Testers get early access to the private site.
The Factory is for everyone, so it must be tested by everyone. We deliberately want a varied crew — different ages, jobs, countries, languages, and comfort with technology. If you have never built a website in your life, you are exactly the kind of tester we need.
A few hours over the test period, on your own schedule. Try each feature, try to break it, and report what you find through the form below.
Early access, a real hand in shaping the product, and any testing fee we agree with you. Your findings are credited internally.
Testing means seeing the product before the public does, so we ask every tester to agree to keep it confidential. It is short and fair — please read it, then tick the box in the application.
Confidentiality & Testing Agreement — between Referee Innovations Ltd (company number 17380676, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, "the Company") and you ("the Tester").
Everything you see, hear, or are given through this testing — the platform, its features, screens, prices, unreleased plans, and any faults found — is confidential information of the Company.
You will keep it secret. You will not show, describe, photograph, record, or repeat it to anyone outside the Company, during testing and for three (3) years afterwards.
You will use the access only to test the platform and report findings to the Company. You will not copy the software, take its code, reverse-engineer it, or use it to build or help anyone build a competing product.
Every bug, weakness, idea, or improvement you find and report becomes the property of the Company, with no further payment beyond any agreed testing fee.
All intellectual property in the platform stays with the Company. Nothing here transfers any of it to you.
If you find a security weakness, you will report it only to the Company and to no one else, and will not exploit it.
You will report truthfully and promptly. Confidentiality continues for three years after testing ends. On request you will stop using the access and delete any materials given. This is a testing engagement, not employment. It is governed by the law of England and Wales.
Tell us a little about you. We use this only to choose a varied crew — nothing here is shared outside Referee Innovations.
Once you're testing, use this for each session. For every feature: did it work, how bad was any problem, and what happened. Be blunt — a confusing word matters as much as a crash.
